90 Day Adult Fit Challenge

The results are in! After 90 Days of dedicating themselves to regular Varsity Adult Fit classes, our challengers have completed their rigorous session. Each week, they came to Varsity to improve their flexibility, muscular endurance, aerobic fitness, and overall health. At the beginning of the challenge in August, we tested the challengers in each of these categories. Now that the challenge has come to an end, we have tested them again to see how far they have come!! The challenger with the overall most improvement in their fitness numbers as well as their bodily measurements is our champion! The race was quite close, as the challengers were all extremely dedicated and hard working. In the end, one of them came out on top. Please congratulate MAY for her high score and our winner of the Varsity Fall 2016 90-Day Fitness Challenge! May will walk away with the pride of earning her place as the top challenger, as well as a nice new duffle bag from Varsity - perfect to fit all of her gym clothes and accessories in! Congrats from all of us here at Varsity! We hope to see some new and old faces in our upcoming SPRING 2017 Adult Fit Challenge!!

 

 

Our participants in the 90-Day Adult Fit Challenge have some thoughts they would like to share with you! They dedicated themselves to 90 days of regular exercise and healthy eating! Read on to see what they have to say about their experience with us!

 

Sophia says:

Her favorite part about the challenge classes is the combination of cardio and stationary workout. She enjoys the group and the instructors are very friendly; always encouraging her to fight harder! To anyone thinking about joining the challenge, she says: "Come and try, you will not regret it! It is a brilliant feeling if you can do something which you couldn't do before."

May says:

Her favorite part about the challenge classes is that the schedule has a lot to choose from, such as different coaches with different styles of workouts. She likes the goal setting and beginning the challenge with a fitness test and body measurements. Being able to compare our starting and ending points makes them work harder to not be lazy or give up. A fixed period of 90 days is easy to stick to. Her favorite thing about the group and instructors is she has excellent company from both. Each of the coaches takes it seriously even when there is only one student in the class. They encourage the class and make them feel full of energy! To anyone thinking about joining the challenge, she says: "To meet and take the challenge is the most valuable gift of 2016 and one of the best in my life. Take it and give it a try, definitely will make you fly high!"

Billie Sue Roe


 

Billie Sue Roe has worked as a UCA instructor and Varsity employee for 12 years. During this time she has been a member of the executive teaching "core" staff, curriculum developer, and the elite group of college staff instructors. She has worked with Varsity International for the last 5 years, instructing coaches and athletes around the world. Billie cheered at the collegiate level where she earned athletic scholarships as well as 3 National Championship titles. She is a 2009 graduate of Morehead State University, in Kentucky, U.S.A. with Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She is very excited to introduce cheerleading and its many opportunities to the children of China.
